Your employer values your degree
Great news! Your employer values your degree. Well, at least they value it more than you do.
In a survey of thousands of Australian managers, THE reports, 62% rated their employees' university degrees as "important" or "very important" to the jobs they were undertaking.
Just 53% of workers surveyed held the same opinion about their own qualifications.
Why do we, as students or recent graduates, hold our degrees in lower esteem than our employers do? Just a case of imposter syndrome or low self-esteem? Or is it something else?
